President of Sellars Nonwovens Recognized with INDA Award

Milwaukee (April 16, 2026) — Martyn Davis, president of Sellars Nonwovens, received the inaugural Industry Advocate of the Year award from INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry. The award recognizes Davis’ support for INDA’s advocacy agenda, which has focused recently on The Federal WIPPES Bill, continuation of the USMCA trade treaty and the more appropriate application of U.S. tariffs for the industry.

“I am both humbled and honored to receive this recognition from the industry that I love, and I have served over many decades,” said Davis. “When our industry does well, all stakeholders, both personally and financially, have improved opportunities to do well. I am proud to serve alongside so many industry friends and advocates who make our industry successful.”

Davis has been president of Sellars Nonwovens for the past 17 years, chief technology officer for the past five years and serves on the Sellars’ board.

In addition, he is a founding board member of the Responsible Flushing Alliance (RFA), a non-profit dedicated to consumer education focused on what should and should not be flushed. Through its #FlushSmart campaign, RFA's goal is to change consumer behavior to help reduce damage to the nation's wastewater systems caused by materials that should not be flushed.
